It was an experiment that I thought went so wrong.... then I tasted it, and it was so right!

A little sweet and a little salty with a pinch of pumpkin and a whole lot of Fall.  

 

It was a perfect treat for a rainy night in.

Fall Dining & A Salvaged Find

 I am loving the simplicity of our dining room this fall. 

 

 This caddy is the perfect piece to round up all the odds and ends for the table.  It used to be an old oil can caddy in it's past life, all the can were already taken but for some reason the guy said people get confused on what to do with the caddy.... I can think of several different things to fill this it with.  

 

 My table runner is just a piece of scrap fabric folded over with the rough edges showing, I really liked the color combination and couldn't bear to hem it.

An easy fall vignette

Fall has always been my favorite time of year, and I'll encourage it as much as the next person, however with September days hanging on to the 90 degree temps around here.... 

It doesn't really feel like fall yet.

I wanted to introduce a little bit of warmth back into the house with out going all pumpkin and dried corn kinda crazy. 

It's a good start to the overture of fall decor, soon enough I will have the scarecrows and painted pumpkins scattered on the front porch mixed in with a few crawly little spider to spur on Halloween.

But for now its a easy fall vignette reminding me the cozy up months are on their way.
