It's a GIRL!!!!!

My poor poor husband is now way out numbered, too many girls in the house between me and the dogs and now

 a baby girl on the way too!  

What is he to do all he has is the cat, and Brusier abandons him for frolicking in the woods and killing small rodents.  At least the hubbs us manly enough to survive with an estrogen filled house.  

 

We have been doing a lot of reading lately,  considering this is out first child and we are utterly ignorant on how to raise a child much less what to do with one....  

Okay.... Let me rephrase,

 I have been doing a lot of reading lately and giving him the cliff notes while he stares at me with a deer in the headlights look on his face.   I did however come across an article that suggested having daddy go home to sleep after the baby is born so he doesn't have to sleep in the hospital chairs, waking up every five minutes when someone comes into the room.   The idea being once 

mommy gets home with the baby, daddy will 

be alert and ready so momma can rest.  

I told him the good news and he just stared at me and replied "Good luck getting me to leave my girls".  I know it's just a simple statement but it reassured me I wasn't in this alone,  he's my partner in crime and he's sticking with me.

Life is Crazy!
